4H Camping Registraion

4-H Exhibitor-Camping Guidelines
  • $400/camper
  • There is a limit to 8 spots for 4H Exhibitors.
  • The 4H exhibitor must have a registered 4H animal exhibit prior to signing up for a camping spot. This will be checked with the 4H extension office prior to entering your camping application into the lottery to assure eligibility. (No rabbits or poultry exhibitors will be accepted)
  • Additional tents of any kind will not be allowed next to your camper UNLESS they have a Camping Permit/Pass. (A camping permit is good for one camper or tent only)
  • Only vehicles with livestock passes are allowed on grounds; your camper tow vehicle will need a livestock pass displayed to remain on the grounds. If you plan to come on and off the fairgrounds during the fair with your tow vehicle or any other vehicle you will need to have a livestock pass visible in your vehicle window or be subject to towing. Your livestock pass must be filled out with your last name and cell phone number. A camping pass is NOT a permit to park your vehicle. Livestock passes are given by the fair board directors for your species when you bring in your animal(s).
  • If there are more than 8 registrations during the 5 day period outlined above a lottery will be held and the 8 winners will be advised on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 that they will have a camping space available the week of the fair.
  • Camping fees must be paid by no later than Friday, July 12th at 4:30 p.m. in the Administration office at the fairgrounds. This fee cannot be paid online, acceptable forms of payment are cash/check/credit card. If paying with a credit card processing fees will be added. Any confirmed spaces not paid for by Friday, July 12th will be reallocated to another camper.
  • 4H campers can check in on the Tuesday before the fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Enter thru West Gate
  • Campers must stop in the administration office, so the office knows that they are coming to drop off their camper. The office will call one of the fairboard camping committee members to assist in getting the camper in the correct spot upon arrival. Camping spots will be assigned by the fairboard. Any camper parked without the assistance of a board member will be subject to having to be moved if not in a 4H designated camping location.
  • Camping tags will be issued at the Administration office when checking in and must be attached to the door of your camper/tent when you are placed. This tag will indicate your first and last name and a phone number that you can be reached at all times during the fair.
  • No campfires will be allowed on the fairgrounds.
